What We Did

For many years we have been working within BCU’s School of Health, providing actors for simulation training, enabling immersive learning experiences for students, to help enrich their education.
Equally, we have assisted on many Specialism Days, both in the development and delivery of the programmes. This work has ranged from scripted performances to enhance conferences, invisible theatre using actors (planted amongst delegates) and improvisation work (based on case studies) responding to suggestions from delegates and students alike. Our feedback from the students consistently tells us that this is an incredibly powerful learning approach and often the most memorable part of their course thus far.

Warwick University

We have worked on Specialism Days at Warwick University with their EYFS students, exploring how creativity can be brought into the classrooms and have interest from other universities who can see the value and impact of these creative approaches to enhance their courses.

“Before the session, I was really nervous because I didn’t know what to expect (experiential theatre) but I can honestly say that was brilliant. You couldn’t tell they were actors, I was completely immersed. I feel so much more confident now about going on placement.”
